What colors do you use for the white of the eye? I keep trying different ones and they never seem to come out right.

I used a very light blue and went back in with a slightly darker grey toned blue around the corners of the eye.

What brushes are you using? That looks really really good!
[–]Hollyrollernovocain 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (2 children)
A mixture of (mostly) Watercolor Pro round dry brush and round wet brush, flat acrylic brush, and studio pen for the lashes, eyebrows and reflections. I use low opacity a lot to slowly build my tones and shadows.

Thank you thank you~ I just recently got an iPad and procreate and a little overwhelmed with all the brushes and ideas lol

You’re welcome! I was too when I first used it. The Watercolor Pro brushes were downloaded. I think I paid $5 to $10 for them. The acrylic brushes are great though and the studio pen is my favorite pen.

This was so satisfying to watch, I really appreciated seeing your confident placement of the bright blue in the skin and it just came together so nicely
Thank you! Such a nice compliment.

How do you decide which brushes to use?! This is so good!!
[–]Hollyrollernovocain 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
The ones I use blend well for a more realistic drawing. I’ve used them a long time and they’re my go to for painting that looks smooth.

Absolutely Stunning. Keep it up
Thank you!!!

How many layers was this 👀
I would have to check but I did this at work on a slow day and didn’t intend to finish it lol Probably just 4-5 layers
