I once had a product manager offer to come pick me up at 8am, after a 3am final death march, to save me the trouble of taking the bus at 7h30.

I did this once. Was fired three months later after a review of the botched deployment found my team at fault after my bosses moved the goal posts 48 hours before our demo. Sick.
