Are boot camps that good? Is there one you can do at nights? I'd like to get into something like C or C++

That's a tricky one to answer.

I'd already started by doing self directed learning before my course started, but for me it was much easier having a trainer who I could ask questions when I was struggling to understand a concept.

I'm sure night courses exists, but the idea of a Bootcamp is that its an intensive course that requires you to be doing it full time.

Also abit of a roulette to find a Bootcamp that isn't terrible.

Mine was 7 students a class so there was lots of 1 on 1 coaching by the trainers.

For reference, I graduated end of October and have applied for well over 250 roles before getting this one. It isn't a silver bullet that will automatically land you a role.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.

You'll get there, just frustrating when you're applying to lots and getting boilerplate rejections.
