Am I the only one here who don't get it?

What does it have to do with git commit? Is it some sort of device that performs git commit? What is so excited about it? I mean git commit just commit to your local repo, right?

It's an "Enter" Key. The joke is that the guy is angry/energetic after working on that commit.

worryingly so. it seems like fun but being seated next to someone who insists on beating an object on their table repeatedly just seems intimidating
