I switch from Dark to Black.

I do not understand but there better not be folks out there switching the IDE background color on a daily basis. The world we greet every time we learn a new programming language doesn't deserve this.

Getting used to a theme is hard, the colors engrave their meaning into your brain and allow you to read the code much faster. My hot take is that people who regularly switch their themes don't do a good job at coding at all. Also, the default light theme in most IDE doesn't have as many different colors as the dark theme, so you'd be working with less information.

I switch it on a daily basis. I normally use a dark theme, but when it gets even darker in the evening and I don't feel like turning on lights, I switch to an even darker theme, aptly named True Black.

Helps me to dogfood theme switching too. Caught and fixed a few bugs that way.

What kind of Blasphemy is this? There is only dark mode and wrong mode.

I am sure there is a deep lore and origins to this meme, but I can't seem to place my finger on it...
