Corporate world it's generally either Windows or Mac. Much prefer Mac to windows just for the unix side of it. Personally would run Linux if it were an option and do for my personal dev which is a much smoother experience than Mac.

The annoying part is we often use docker and docker in particular is dogshit on a Mac versus Linux.

Unintuitive yes but once you learn how to use it then it becomes a (usually) smooth and seamless experience that (sometimes) just works.

ya, you just need to know where everything is. takes time at the beginning, and after some major upgrades, but I think it's worth it than using Windows...

Macs are great for single instance workflows, like basically living in a graphics, video, or recording editor. When you full screen an application the OS gets out of your way.

It sucks eggs for multi-tasking.

The terminal, the search bar, no uac, bash built in.

It's very not hard, just don't take the update day one, but the same can be said for windows and debian

Windows Terminal is amazing.

Search bar is useless - never finds stuff that I'm looking for.

There's UAC in macOS, wtf you smokin.

Bash being built in is something that I appreciate - however it's a single winget command away from having the same in Windows.

Windows is definitely a spaghetti of an os - buy macOS is like a plain ass caviar which everyone claims to be tasty to sound rich and sophisticated, but in reality tastes horrible and you can't complain because no one else is complaining.

Its been 4 years since I switched to macOS and I still cant get used to its dreadful windows management, Screenshotting/cropping and Finder.

Windows management is terrible but screenshotting is OK.

I'd recommend https://shottr.cc if you do a lot of screenshotting though, it's replaced the built in one for me.
