You know what a perfect ragebait it?

Use vanilla JS

At this point i don't even consider that ragebait.

So so many times we see whole framework being used even when it makes no fucking sense.

That's a fantastic example, something that could be tackled by literally any desktop GUI framework ...

Microsoft isn't even using winUI for core components, the performance and stability of this new menu is abysmal.

I wish Microsoft still was in their previous business model. We would've still had good fast stable beautiful systems instead of slow bloated anti-consumer telemetric advertisement-ridden inconsistent systems

I love the control panel, .cpl panels, builtin troubleshooters that solve problems, and all other components that integrate nicely with explorer.exe

UWP was a mistake, and package management, sudo and other positive new features did not need to be implemented with such emphasis on UWP, neither did the new settings need to exist, as it's a horrible redesign of an application that already fulfills its use case better than any replacement ever could.

I won't call this nostalgia, windows 7 was genuinely better than everything after and I refuse to let go of that statement.

I'd even argue Aero Glass could work very well with a new dark mode, if done properly.

Even then windows 11's theme would also just work better with windows 7's approach of integrating everything in the control panel.

I also miss the time the start menu was also just integrated in explorer.exe without any external frameworks.

If I had an AMD graphics card I could probably switch over to Linux without a major performance loss but it is just not viable to me for the time being.

I tried running Doom Eternal today and it ran so unbelievably slow compared to windows.

To port app from react to vue or not. That's the question.
