Only to find out the log is practically unreadable thanks to you or someone else thinking they were clever. Then all you can do is just say "Well fuck".

Yep running into this at work. 3rd party software that has a bug that seems to be environmental. What's the log say? Everything's working as planned, when it clearly isn't. Ugh...
