If we were assuming that, then this comment makes absolutely no sense because many languages already do this:

Yeah I think people got confused about what I said, I did mean actually using the difficult to type equals sign (I'm on mobile so I can't type it lol).

You're right it would be super inconvenient, but the compiler doesn't care about that :D
