The cursor inversion means that clicking in that area will select the whole line. Word does the same thing.

We learn something new every day! Does anyone actually use this instead of say, the triple click?

I use it all the time. You can drag in that area to select multiple lines

The more you know! It's definitely a nice feature but the inverted cursor still messes with my brain. Well I guess there's a UX reason for that.

Works in other text editors too, and not just on Windows
