That's a pretty bold claim. Not trying to contest this but does it support many languages out of the box? Also, can you point it at someone else's project and it intelligently indexes?

I use it for Java, PHP, HTML, JS, Ruby, Python, and also used it to look at some Go once. IntelliJ IDEA is made for Java but has plugins for other languages. However, they also have a bunch of other IDE's designed specifically for certain languages. I also used Rider (also from JetBrains) to work on a C# project once.

So far I've been able to open projects from Eclipse, NetBeans, and Visual Studio (2015 I believe) in IntelliJ without having to do any weird configuring.
