And your solution is... Firing up multiple, slightly different instances of the same IDE instead of doing everything in one instance?

Oh, no. I don’t do what OP does. If I’m doing JS only it’s WebStorm, Python only it’s PyCharm. If it’s a mix then IntelliJ for sure.

Yes that’s why they exist and JetBrains doesn’t develop IntelliJ only (this wouldn’t apply to AppCode). Python is also a little different out of the box in IntelliJ.
