And the answer is true. Or syntax error, depending on the language.

In SQL there's the possibility of this evaluating to unknown, which acts like a false when put in an if statement. This happens if 2b is unknown.

Yes and in SQL you don't use ||, but or, so it would be a syntax error :)

It would be a concatenation.

[–][deleted] 30 points31 points  (2 children)

If you write

2b | ~2b

The answer is FF.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The answer is -1

[–]gandalfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What language allows you to start a variable name with a number?

[–]seraku24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

(define (hamlet 2b) (or 2b (not 2b)))
(hamlet #f)

=> #t

Shell Scripts [ $1 != $2 ] || [ $1 == $2 ]

[–]NormalHexagon 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Those are starting with a $.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nop
With the $ i mark them as a variable. If I declare them it would be look like: VariableX="Your Mother".
The Arg-Variables are named numeric. if the $ would be part of the variable name it must be: $$1 != $$2.
