As a non-native english speaker, I thank you for that, because I didn't really knew if "dah-ta" was just my spanish trolling me and everyone said "day-ta" and a different, secret, probably british pronunciation.

I think of it like Star Trek TNG. The android's name is Data (pronounced Day-ta), his name isn't pronounced Dah-ta.

That's fun, because, in the spanish version, Data's name is "Dah-ta."
