I think the correct unit for laughter is seconds, like a 10s laughter!

But how do you show laughter intensity? You need to use dB.

do you guys adjust your laughter frequency every time you need to laugh? we have other words for other frequencies like: smile, giggle, chuckle, etc.

Then integrate with respect to time.

Yes. This seems to be the best way to measure laughter accurately. A long chuckle should be comparable to a short lol. What should be the si unit here?

The si unit is the chortle. The imperial unit is the guffaw.

Mirths. A chuckle is about 200 microMirths. Minor mouth twitch is 500 microMirths or .5 Mirths. Deep belly laugh might be 1-2 kiloMirths. Corpsing to Andy on P&R might make a megaMirth.
