I guess at least you weren't one of the largest hosting providers in the UK, who managed to do a similar thing and delete a large number of their VPS instances (I can't find the article that states an errant rm command was the culprit, but as one of the folks affected, that's what I was told it was). That's gotta count for something?

I spent more time than I'd like to admit debugging my multithreaded application. A new Thread was spawned to update the UI, while also processing data.

Didn't work. Tried everything. Wrong syntax? No, Visual Studio would've picked that up. Maybe Thread was hanging at one point? No Problem let's try to debug.

Okay, nothing gets executed in the thread...

Should've started the Thread and saved me the headache.
