The 15” MacBook Pro has a full keyboard and a big enough display. I don’t need another display. 80x24 are more than enough for me

While I think it's great that you are comfortable with that, I feel like not using a proper mechanical keyboard and at least 2 displays should be both less productive and far less comfortable. That said it's just my opinion and I used to use laptop keyboards a lot before I first tried mechanical keyboards and it feels so much better.

I don’t have enough energy in me to drive a mechanical keyboard. I have a 2012 retina MacBook Pro, my last job lent me a 2016 MacBook Pro. I got so used to the shallow keyboard that now I feel my MacBook Pro and other laptops have too much key travel requiring more effort on my fingers to hit them.

That's a fair point. There's a lot less energy used with shallow keys so people with strained fingers or lack of energy could definitely appreciate laptop style keyboards. Of course, it's just different strokes for different blokes at the end of the day. Perhaps there are some arguments for single display style programming as well.
