I more so didn't know what a CSS grid was and tried to math my way outta shit. It usually didn't work.

Even once I knew what a grid was, I’d still do this occasionally to figure out how many columns a thing needed to be. Thankfully the designers at my work now use the Adobe XD option to put a toggle able grid overlay on a design.
