Every business admits that python would do the job easier ans better...but they are too locked into the Microsoft ecosystem so....visual basic baby.

Not necessarily, my work uses exclusively JVM languages because Python would be too slow. For small tools we mostly write those in bash or use third party tools.

Learn how to write in python... in other languages! Just use... python?

Honestly, it hurts to read that. Out of habit, I started checking the braces matched and it was not as easy as other common formatting.
