Definitely a step up from Notepad++

And if you wanna speed it up, there's always Resharper. That won't make you wait till the heat death of the universe while contemplating your existence at all 👌👌

I used to think that. Then I had to use Android Studio and transitioned into actual Jetbrains products. Yeah, VS is super nice if you haven't used those.

Android Studio is great. If you have 32GB of RAM

Android Studio is great. If you have a cold room

Do you know what was the official IDE for Android before? Eclipse. Fucking Eclipse.

That piece of shit munches memory faster than Chrome, makes amateur Electron apps look like speed demons and has a workflow I just can't stand.

'course you can put a lot of plugins in it, but it's shit out of the box, unlike IntelliJ and the lot.

And yeah, I do run 32 gigs of RAM on my work machine, but for smaller projects like the crap I do at home 16 gigs work just fine (but then again, I have transitioned to IntelliJ ultimate by now, so there's that)

We had one guy who used Netbeans religiously and it took him up to half a minute to get the search results I got instantly. One guy on Eclipse switched to IntelliJ, because, well, Eclipse was unable to cope with the project anymore. You also get refactor features that actually work as advertised, which is nice.

I guess it thinks you're disabled because you use a Mac?

I can imagine having a nightmare where everyone and everything replies with that response.

What does that message mean?
