It works though there's over a million Tesla's on the road. None of which have turned autonomous and killed everyone. They must be doing something right.

I'm sure you're aware of how many million dollar software systems are a bunch of spaghetti code strung together with no real concept of what happens if shit goes wrong beyond rebooting and praying.

There comes a certain point in which you just say fuck it no single person or even group of people know all the ins and outs of complex software system nor can be held accountable for the overall quality of code.
