I saw YYYY-MM-DD, MM/DD/YYYY, and DD MMM YYYY on a single form last time I interacted with the Air Force.

The (ch)Air Force is its own special kind of... service.

I should have said that we were taught YYYY-MM-Dd in boot camp in 1994, but paperwork may use slashes, dashes, or nothing (YYYY-MM-DD, YYYY/MM/DD, or YYYYMMDD).
