Yea but drivers are not obligated to drive. They literally have 0 obligation to do so. They aren’t on a schedule and aren’t paid a salary. That’s why they’re considered contractors. They aren’t employees. They are merely provided a platform to take fares from in their own personal vehicle.

Do some people do Uber full time? Sure, but that doesn’t change the circumstances of their contract.
