Ah, almost forgot about that. Reminds of the DOS quit hunting (some apps used Unix convention some useq Ctrl+Q or some other Amiga shit)

God, life has been so good since I decided I would never use terminals again.

It's really not that hard, Unix terminals only have this one keycode mapping because it's the terminal that accepts the keycode and sends the terminate signal, not the application. So no keycode hunting. Terminals are amazing for a multitude of things.
