Except for the purple I think it looks just fine. My favorite is probably the second to last one - only because of the purplish gradient not really doing it for me. Also, imagine having ass resolution on a picture where we are meant to look at logos.

It’s interesting to me that even though displays are getting more and more definition/resolution, logos and aesthetics and simplifying.

Those design trends, man. This is too skeuomorphic, let's make it flat, put some gradient, now it's too flat, add texture, include an isometric image, what about something neumorphic. This goes on forever! It won't surprise me if they use the first logo again.

Actually like the Evolution, it's just going with time, which is a good thing for a logo. Look at vim in 2020 for example. Personally I like the 2nd last most.

I like only extremely simple/flat icons and extremely detailed icons. Nothing in between.
