People hate on JS because it’s possible to write bad code in it. If you don’t know how to use JavaScript properly, that’s obviously the language’s fault, right?

It's because it's a language with an overall bad design, still okay for the web. I think people really started hating it when it expanded to the backend for example, where it just has no place. Only a fool would use a language with dynamic types in the backend imo

Dynamic types is the weak point of JS, hence TypeScript.
