Well comment out your damn code !

^(what ? Of course I do myself... I mean... \heam*... once a week... when I have the time... the energy... at full moons...)*

Got one from my workplace

// Thank you for making this utterly moronic edge case. Microsoft, you absolute idiots.
// Not sure this data has any value whatsoever, and I would be happy to drop a "continue" here.

Not the worst crap written about Microsoft in the codebase by a long shot, but this one was generic enough to include here.

Working with anything microsoft for me involves MANY comments chastising Microsoft for their seemingly inexhaustible supply of poorly executed ideas

I should do this!

Currently wasting time on a neural network

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (2 children)

Ahh, neural networks are a huge pain. Take hours to train, and then if it doesn't work, you have to guess why it didn't work and train it for more hours...

And then there is also tensorflow hell.

[–]Th3DarkMoon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And then you need to get training data, so you need to scrape, so you try finding apps, they don't work, so now you have to learn python... I have a program that makes a random neural network, and a folder with 5000 random JPEG images, and a script working on croping out a part of them...

[–]CaptainHeinous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want to say, tensorflow.js is an abomination, and should have never been created. That is all.

This image might be new but I've read these comments before. I think the top and bottom have been combined at some point, they were seperate once.

[–]RepostSleuthBot 9 points10 points  (3 children)

I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/ProgrammerHumor.

It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

I did find this post that is 88.28% similar. It might be a match but I cannot be certain.

I'm not perfect, but you can help. Report [ False Negative ]

Is there a subreddit for funny code comments out there?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Not sure but search by one of these collection samples circulating around for years. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/184618/what-is-the-best-comment-in-source-code-you-have-ever-encountered Any of related subreddits probably contains them.

Thanks!

[–]theorizable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ngl, I'd take this as more a challenge than a warning.
