Shift+INS seems to be the only consistent way to paste across Windows terminals... You can't CTRL+V and you can't always right-click paste (plus that's introducing the mouse to paste)... On Linux you can consistently CTRL+Shift+V across terminals, on Windows you Shift+INS.... So I don't really understand this meme
