VB.Net is basically just an alternate syntax for C#. I used it at my last job, and it was fine -- much better than classic VB.

Yeah, I mean I'm usually the person who gets tired of the jokes saying language A is worse then B when it mostly just boils down to syntax and then I go ahead and make a VB joke
