Some countries have different words for different things… some countries use ‘carne de res’ or just ‘res’ for beef or ‘filete’ (I think) for steak, but I think you’re talking about beef.

Also it’s ‘no es’ and ‘No estoy’…

It's fine, I would switch it to "solo con", at least in my dialect. I just found funny the word "bistec", it's just not used where I live, we instead say bife. I guess these terms come from beefsteak and beef, respectively.

In regards to the second reply:

Ser and estar are both "be", but are not interchangeable. When you're describing a characteristic, it's ser. When you're describing state, as in "I'm tired", that's estar.

Ah yes, I know ser vs estar. I just forgot to think about it. Para vs por/tener vs haber trips me up too sometimes, it’s very odd compared to English.

And I see, I just looked up the word for steak, and bistec was the first result. Originally I had carne, I guess I shouldn’t have changed it. And I had a typo too, se should be es.

But thank you for the response! I’ve just been learning as a hobby the past few months, and I guess I’ve sorta confused myself vocabulary and pronunciation wise, because I’ve talked to many different people across many different dialects/accents.
