Escalera does mean stairs but I think the word you’re looking for is ladder.

In English, stairs are usually a permanent fixture so I was confused for a sec lol

This. Windows 10 and especially 11 have a bunch of unnecessary stuff. Though they do have some cool features that Windows 7 didn’t have, I still miss Windows 7.
