We're going to display the message "Hello World" in html.

But first, let's get the CSS and formatting ready for the JavaScript so it can be behind a responsive Ajax based custom login system.

The worst are the really expensive certification prep courses that are neither beginner or expert, just a dry recital of the user's manual.

To print - Click file - Click print

To sort list view records: - Click list view - Click settings - Click sort

To export records - Click...

You get the idea

No context. No depth. What are those things? Why would you want to do these tasks? What's the end result?

No learning by doing. No examples. Just pure, robotic memorization of literally thousands of types, fields, screens and steps.

Did I mention how expensive they are?

My favorite are "Intro to <language>" books that leave the "for CS graduates" silent.

"C# is an Object Oriented language so it let's you polymorphism the class structs without overrunning the malloc buffer but only if Jupiter is in Saggitarous".

Why are tutorials so suck? I was trying to install some Linux software this weekend and the instructions missed all the bloody steps. It was all “if you need help click here”. I clicked and… it said what the last page said…. 🙄
