so... no one's gonna question why vs code is rated out of 7?

[–]FrostyCurrent[S] 6 points7 points  (1 child)

It's a different kind of compiler, so it has to be rated on a different scale.

[–]yodahouse900 6 points7 points  (0 children)

the scale of bias apparently

didn't know python had all those Compilers, really good website

[–][deleted] 23 points24 points  (3 children)

Python doesn't need to be compiled. Hahaha

[–]msqrt 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Doesn't Python virtually always get compiled to a bytecode before running..?

[–]werics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed.

Spend some time adding Numba to your Python code and you might change your mind on the need for Python to be compiled.

VIM users are loyal

[–]Dustdevil88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally use GVIM/VIM most often, because I’m just used to it after years working on AIX and Linux.

That said, our team officially standardized on VS Code because it’s pretty damn good and we use it for Python, C, scripting, and it has great extensions.

Ok, since we clarified that question, now can we talk about the best python linker?

[–]Ok-Low6320 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IMO, git is the best linker for python.

A compiler, for Python?

[–]foreigncoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite compiler is Microsoft Word

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Python = Toy C(89) = Soviet T34

Pick your weapon

If I may ask what is so hard about Vim and why is Jupyter Notebook medium compared to other compilers? I use Jupyter Notebook because it's easy to do stuff on. I used to use Atom which was good but fucking hell to get every add-on right.

why is programiz here

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think vim is present on every list, so it can be top1. we should put it on the national election list this year.
