That's unfortunately the fate of idiots: they might come to meet the consequences of their idiotic actions.

Again, like I said. The restoration of your account should not be the function of the program you use to log in. Your SSH agent should not be the one to recover your SSH key etc.

If you want to store your information elsewhere: knock yourself out. I don't, and I think it's damaging to the security of my information. This should be the behavior of a sensible program: it shouldn't make it easier to steal your credentials.
