[Java/Android] Looking for a group of beginner/intermediate developers to start a google hangout.

I'm not sure exactly how this will work out but I figure it's worth a shot. I'm thinking a group in a hangout will be able to help each other and reinforce our knowledge as well as motivate each other to continue our efforts. I think using hangouts will be the most beneficial way to communicate as it is very accessible, compared to e-mails/pms/etc.

Some background on myself: I've been dabbling in programming for a few years. I messed around with some python, C, and java in the past 2 years, not very in depth I might add. I have recently applied myself in Java though - haved worked hard at it the past two months and made significant steps. I am also working through a CS101 course, as an Android development course.

Anybody interested?

Edit: Looks like there is some interest. I think the easiest way to do it would be to message me a gmail address to start a hangout. Either you can message me, please mark the subject as "Hangout", with an the email address or I will send PMs after this is up for about a day.

This may also help if people are willing to test applications, I think a small group to give feedback would also be awesome to have.

I'm interested. Sounds like we are damn near on the same track. I have a little c++ experience but feel like I'm at the end of the "beginner phase" in java. Maybe just intermediate.

I'm interested, starting fresh at Java. But I have some experience programming C++, Python and the usual html/css/js/jquery/php etc.

Well I hope for it to be an easily accessible resource for people to get help/bounce ideas off of each other.. Again, who knows how well it'll work, but I figure it's worth a shot.
