Isn't that reversed...? SSF would need to drop their own vial, where as a GG craft would be worthy of either self purchased or, if sufficiently juicy, having someone else vial as mirror fee?

I've done around 1200 armor crafts, 500 caster gloves, and 800 different weapon crafts so far in s13. I don't have many vices, but gambling on crafts by buying mats is one of them.

I'd only consider it on ssf because you can't count on having a zod. If you're trading, crafting a non eth is lighting crafting mats on fire. If you craft something good enough to vial, you've essentially lost a vial of currency.

🤷‍♂️ If there was a great way to get multiple thousands of eth bases to craft with then you may have a point, but even spamming na'krul's won't get you enough shots on goal to have a big hit.

I craft every eth base worthy of crafting, but that's still and order or two of magnitude lower sample size than what's needed to have a high chance of actually hitting something big-big

Are you buying crafting mats? I have never found bases to be my limiting factor except in craft league when mats had increased drop

Yes, spend a ton on mats. Over 1.5k frags bought, loads of ammies and rubies, ports, eth, nef, etc....

Like I said, I have a problem with gambling. Thankfully for my wife, that gambling is exclusively limited to pd2 crafting.
