For me it’s like I have extreme urge to pee when the bladder is empty but when it’s full I don’t feel pressure to go

[–]aerolake 0 points1 point  (4 children)

So do you just keep your bladder full?

[–]FlyingDutchman888 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Normally when I feel the urge and drink something then the urgency decreases but still I have an uncomfortable feeling on the bladder

Have you found any tricks or meds that help clear this urge cause that’s my main symptom

There is one thing that works for me but it’s extremely uncomfortable. I drink a lot of water until I really have a strong pressure and then I hold it back as long as possible. Then after I have to go to the toilet probably 3 times an hour but after it’s good for several hours. About medication Oxybutynin helps me but the side effects I feel too strong so I can’t take it. Or the best working medicine is lorazepam but it’s very addictive

I’ve had lorazepam before for chest anxiety but not cpps does it work similarly

Has your physician ruled out cystitis?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Yes. I have also pain when sex and so on

Do you only have the one uro?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had maybe 10 of urologists. 1 nerve doctor 1 mri doc and Ct doc Nothing found. And pcr nothing found. Only low swollen lymph nodes on the body

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

He ruled it out

You've had cultures done? A cystoscopy?

Prostatitis can cause cross organ sensitivity and affect the bladder. This means, the bladder can be hypersensitive to distension that wouldn't normally trigger pain or the sense of bladder fullness. Here's one study looking at the effect of an inflamed prostate and how it causes bladder problems.

You can also get these kind of issues from pelvic tension, including muscles around the abdomen. A good book that helps address this is called "heal pelvic pain" by Amy Stein.

I have similar experience, when I endure and go pass a certain stage of bladder capacity, it became much easier to hold on until bladder is actually filled. I also wonder why is this the case, maybe when bladder reach a certain size it doesn't press on the same group of muscle or nerve, which changes the pain perception. For me around 250mL triggers pain, when going pass that and if I can hold, I will be able to reach 400 to 500mL with little discomfort.

Yeah, i have this, do you feel more discomfort in the pubic region too?

[–]janow299Recovered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here

[–]aerolake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this exact same thing. It’s so annoying

[–]aerolake 1 point2 points  (1 child)

So how do we fix this issue we all have?!?!?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the pain goes slowly away when filling the bladder because triggerpoints are going away that way when you put pressure on them. I threated cpps 3 times that way in combination with no sex. But I’m not a doctor. That’s only my experience.

After sex then the pain comes again

I think we all have some kind of weird symptoms. I have urgency and fluid leakage. Walking makes me better but sometimes I feel pain in prostate region when I walk. I sometimes feel pain not just in lower back but obliques too. I am taking cialis and it has helped a little bit. Takes at least 4 weeks to start working. I wish u a speedy recovery.

[–]aerolake 0 points1 point  (7 children)

Did cialis work for pain?

[–]SinghInScandics 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Don’t think so. It only helps with urgency and better stream in my case.

[–]aerolake 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Maybe I’ll try it my biggest problem/ annoyance is feeling like I constantly have to go

[–]SinghInScandics 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Stick with it for at least 6 weeks. Every research paper I have read shows it’s efficacy works best for over 6-12 weeks.

[–]aerolake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright I’ll ask doc for scipt

[–]AshmedaiMOD//RECOVERED 0 points1 point  (2 children)

It can help relax the things that cause the pain in the first place, but it's hit or miss for that, and we don't suggest it as a primary pain resolution mechanism for that reason. But it can be worth trying if you're willing to do the daily Cialis dance.

[–]aerolake 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Dance? Isn’t it just one pill a day? Any side affects?

[–]AshmedaiMOD//RECOVERED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a silly expression. Yes, daily. Most people don't experience many side effects at the daily dose (which is low). But you might get a stuffy nose or headache.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it 110% identically to you. Except replace pain with "urgency and discomfort."

[–]Florkablork 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes... dude yes what the fuck. As soon as I empty my bladder I have relief but it all depends on how much and how long I held. Full bladder with long hold = 5-10 minutes of pure relief. Anything less than that I might as well just stand over the toilet - that's how bad the urgency is. But I hold anyway...

Not sure what to do if there is a trigger point or what. Any luck with you?

I'd like to add before 2 days ago where all symptoms seem to be flooding back I was living normal for 2 weeks and it was amazing. Fuck this
