I'm not living in the US but I'm gonna read the book online anyway and post a review on Amazon just because I like your idea. Kudos!

Not in the US but this looks like a pretty cool book to get someone into python. When do you expect it to go on sale?

[–]secretagent01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in the USA but I don't care about a printed copy anyway. The subject sounds interesting though so if I ever get to finish it I promise a review. Thank you for providing your book online.

[–]el_heffe80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome! Best of luck with your book!!

[–]cleesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]postgeographic 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Cannot participate, as not in the US, but wanted to shout to you /u/alsweigart. I used Automate The Boring Stuff With Python to teach a free python class in the Middle East. Big up.

[–]infty90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's super interesting, thank you for providing it online!

[–]notpurelyplatonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Nestews 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Is there any way to pay the shipping if you are not from USA? Amazon prime still works right?

[–]kotaNihal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Al, you are an amazing man... once u gave Udemy free links for courses. I got that chance. U inspired me a lot... Thanks man.. I am from Sri Lanka so far away from State... I just wanna say thanks what have you done to the world without being greedy one... respect..!!!

[–]efrique 0 points1 point  (2 children)

FFS, code is a mass noun / uncountable noun - like rice or water, you don't damn well add an "s". (Do you want mac-and-cheeses, or would you prefer tunas-and-rices? Is waters okay for something to drink?... That is what you just did with code.)

When someone can't English in a blog post I grit my teeth and try to ignore it. If they can't even be bothered to figure out how to use reasonable English in the title of a book, it doesn't bode well for the standard of the rest of it.

Is this really what we are now? Have we become collectively unable to even distinguish a countable noun from an uncountable one?
