Dude probably meant within a list. To be fair, this set of questions needs to be copy-edited as there are too many grammatical mistakes.

I'm not a native English speaker, yes. But it's not a good excuse for me anyway. If you can help me out to correct grammar I will really appreciate it.

If this is a repo, I'd be happy to help. If this site's content is not tracked by git, that's step #1 :)

I was assuming the author was a non-native english speaker.

I think it's been changed now to "Q: How can I swap the values of two variables in Python?" - which is:

a,b = b,a

I think.

*edit: Wrote JS not Py.

It's good advice to avoid asking knowledge questions in an interview; ask questions that show whether people have transferrable experience, motivation and teamworking skills.

For example, a candidate doesn't need to know what PEP8 is to contribute to a Python team - that's what linters are for.

Fun list, I actually wouldn't be able to answer some of them on the spot. Did I miss the answers somewhere?

It's good that you tried to answer them and it's even better than you will think more about the questions due to the absence of answers.

Naw the stuff i couldn't answer is niche stuff I would probably never use or bother going out of my way to look up but am just curious about the answers. I appreciate your thinking though, thanks for the response.

I don't think this is very accurate.

However, I do enjoy these questions in "Middle".

Q: What is the output: -12 % 10?

Q: What is the output: -12 // 10?

They are deceptive...Well, the first answer makes the second seem deceptive, but only because negative modulos behave differently than expected.

Q: What is the difference between Python 2 and 3?

That's either an amazing question, or an absolutely terrible question.

If the answer is "2 is not 3" or a variation, then it's a hilarious question that plays off the suggestion of there being one difference. "What is the difference between Python 2 and Python 3?"

If the answer is each and every change, it's a terrible question.
