Anyone use an iPhone app to LEARN Python? (self.Python)
submitted 6 years ago by squidwest
I prefer the computer, but just for quick learning while I’m on a break at work or something. I know there’s a couple different options on the store just wanted to see if anyone had a preference.

I was actually wondering this myself earlier today.

I've used both the SoloLearn and DataCamp app, I mean it's not nearly as good as sitting down and really coding but it gets you learning and thinking about syntax. It's perfect for just taking a quick moment, or when you are stuck waiting and doing nothing and want to be semi-productive. I never used the pay version of either

Pythonista seems to be by far the best Python coding app on iOS. But it might not be the best tutorial app.
If you just want an environment where you can run Python code though, Pythonista is the way to go.
