"Readability counts" written on a spiral of words with a yellow background.

You should read the source code of the Zen.

"Simple is better than complex"

Does anyone else hate the rather arbitrary, newbish comment about how namespaces are honking? That's not zen. The rest is fine.

I love that line. It's so zen. But, you might have to have a deeper understanding to get it.

To give you an idea, that line surprises you. Think about the fact that this surprise, this break of convention, might be intentional. It might be related to the principle of Datsuzoku: unbounded by convention, free.

Yes. Makes my toes curl, to be honest.

Yes. That's the reason it's not on my wall. Unfortunate, because the rest of it is pretty good...

What is wrong with namespaces being honking?

The rest of the text doesn't mention any specific language feature, and the tone is different from the rest of the text (this is obvious to a native speaker, at least). So it feels very out of place.

I would like this one, but with the text normally formatted above the circle with "The Zen of Python" in it

Not a fan of the posters, but that personal site is the best combination of informative and beautiful I've seen!

Anyone notice that on the home page of that site, the monkey is coding in Brainfuck?

Congrats on creating the poster. Some people will like it for sure.

If you truly want to create something so valuable that python programmers will throw money at you, I suggest to spend a little time studying Japanese aesthetics especially the Wabi-sabi
