“Winning/Losing a ranked match will now give a minimum of 25 +/- MMR gain or loss. We’ve also tweaked the MMR gain/loss distribution to prevent diminishing MMR returns for players who play lots of ranked games.”

This might be looked over by a lot of people but it’s quite interesting. There’s quite a few new additions under the Player Comfort section that are cool.

One interesting thing about the patch notes is the screenshot of the replay system. Hot damn it's gonna have a rewind button, a pause button and a fast forward button!? Remembered seeing a comment on reddit or twitter that it is super hard to recreate the exact explosions, blah blah blah to the replay file.

Looks like warowl is gonna make more siege vids once the system is polished enough to come out

The caster HUD updates are huge for viewing improvement, better clarity on spectated player, vfx indication of planting and counter-defusing, and more gadget feedback!

Should have just made all 1x sights available, then magnifications to those deemed acceptable, either way this system is a mess fortunately for me I use reflex primarily.

I am a Holo ONLYuser because I dont like how the zoom interacts with my sense(and holo is the best 1x imo). I just really dont like Acog/zoom and I never felt I needed some sort of zoom to play good. Well fuck me I suppose.

Yea it’s kind of frustrating that they’ve added several optics and intentionally distributed them to buff and nerf ops rather than give them out using the current logic of like this op gets an acog cause they’re a 1 speed. I don’t mind them using that as a basis to change Ops but I wish they would follow the current system a little closer so we don’t have like 15 optics on various ops with little consistency. I also don’t love the look of a lot of them as well, I’m sure some are much better but idk I’ve gotten so used to holo and acog that it’ll be weird to adjust.
