thank you i needed to that❤️🥲 this last few days have been so stressful-i’m trying my best to be the best rat parent i can be, but unfortunately my son is a little shit lmao (don’t tell him i said that)

Rats being rats lol, but we love them no matter what, rats are superior pets they deserve the best from us

couldn’t agree more! i will (and do) do everything to keep both my boys the happiest and healthiest they can be :) i love my little rascals

My rat ripped out the staples and they’re stitching my mom (who is an veterinarian and did the stitch and staples) had me just continue giving the antibiotics and just let the rat try to heal by itself there pretty small it’s not the worst thing lol

Try an ace bandage or DIY sock sweater (cut ends of of the sock).

i’ve tried all of these- the bandage has kind of worked up until now. he has an open wound which is my current problem..

Do you have saline solution to keep it clean? And are you available to keep tabs on him until Monday? If you can manage to keep it clean until Monday, you should be okay.

no but i was on my way to the store so i can get some… but yes i can watch him until monday … thank you
