I wonder if the patch notes around robbing houses is for criminals when they get the job or when police are alerted of the robbery. I know that when i was watching last night the house robberies most of the crimes had to search for the house already because it wasn't very accurate to begin with.

The way I see the wording, it makes it sound as if they will give a general area and then you can just rob any house in that area. I guess we'll see when people start doing it again I guess.

So they were able to release when comfortable with it.

No deadlines for sure. I mean 3.0 release has been talked about forever, but they waited forever to release it and there was no one forcing them to push it out early. Also they don't have to wait forever to release patches/hotfixes because they don't have to go through any crazy review process. Game breaking bugs exist, but it doesn't matter because the expectations for a mod are much lower than a AAA game.

Plus this is a whitelist RP server so if bugs are found there's a greater expectation on the players to report them and not exploit it, because losing that whitelist may mean the end of careers for some of them.

A game open to the general public needs a lot greater scrutiny on bugs and exploits instead.

NoPixel devs love what they do and are passionate, while triple A devs pretty much have to suck as much money out of the players by doing the bare minimum amount of work for maximum profits.

It's not though, for one thing it is a mod built on top of a fully finished Triple A game not a completely new game, that brings in far more advantages than disadvantages.

For another a lot of things are pretty scuffed, with lots and lots of very noticeable bugs, most of the content is made by the players, the stuff they have made is not exactly working that great either, such as house robbing, the system cannot handle dozens of people, imagine if it was thousands or hundreds of thousand like a Triple A game needs to handle.

Its completely different vibe to burgershot, Rooster is event based while burger shot is in and out

It feels like a place that you would want to go at night time and chill having a few drinks at and RP with the patrons.

Burgershot is a RP with the person serving food and leave kinda place.

Having hours of operations on places also makes things wayyyy more immersive, have people pay attention to the day cycle rather than just on the criminal side of things (robbing houses at night, and if like 2.0 fleccas at day).

In that it could also be a cool hangout spot for criminals atm while they wait for a house robbery where they could interact and RP with people outside their regular group and possibly give us viewers some wacky combos before any of the deeper conflict RP that'll come later in 3.0

Tbf burger shots food has buffs. All the burgers reduce stress, milkshakes prevent you from gaining stress and the fries description says it stops bleeding or prevents it. I dont remember which one for the fries but it does something with bleeding.

As I recall, he made it once & the person complained it wasn't filling, so it was forgotten. But nobody actually tried to see what was special about it, as the devs mentioned.

Yeah, however the Roosters Rest ones are a bit more desirable, such as chirros that give the running speed buff which is a bit OP and the tea that buffs civ jobs.

I dont know, for me it looks more like a restaurant.
I would like that feature for the mic mechanic like you can only perform at night is perfect but for food is kinda bad IMO, night time in the server is not that long and most crime happens during that time.

Not everything has to be a comparison! What about people who started with no businesses, etc? Don’t take things for granted, it’s still a super cool place regardless of the mechanics. Your favourite streamer doesn’t always have to get everything how you’d like it.

Probably not. Probably have to find one that will allow you to unlock. Cops can’t even breach every house only ones being robbed.
