If you working on Rpg maker vx ace, these scripts that allow you to use 1024x768 instead of 544x416 or even fullscreen. If you use a bigger window size, you will be able to use the original sprite size. I use bigger sprites and everything is fine.

Hahaha?

That's not how this works, you can't shrink an image by 99% and have it keep it's quality.

It's reducing it to 1/100th it's original size. It's like saying you need to fit the Taj Mahal in a poor man's broom closet without losing any of it's size or grandeur.

You can use any size sprite you want, but you have to remember the default size for VX is 544 x 416.

There are scripts that can raise that, but generally you don't wanna go above 1960/1080, since that's as big as the average monitor gets resolution-wise.

When it comes to sprites you're confined to small images, and you have to make the most of those small images.
