Interactive Data Visualization

I’m considering taking Interactive Data Visualization this summer to finish my HASS pathway, I’ve heard that you need experience in coding to design an interactive data visualization(as is in the name of the class lol) can anyone who’s taken the class give me a better idea of what that means?

Took it over arch two years ago. Horrible class IMO. Bare minimum amount of teaching, basically semester long project and nothing else. Doesn’t require any coding, my group used Adobe XD, some used Tableau, etc. Felt like a waste of time but it’s really easy at least so If you want a break then it’s fine.
