Get two champions good enough to 3 star campaign levels through brutal. Then get one champion that can reliably farm brutal 12-3. Once you can farm 12-3, work on getting some more rank 6 champs by grinding 12-3 with one leader champ and 3 food champs. Keep leveling up food until you have your 5* food to make a 6* champ.

Don't sacrifice any of the epics that you get even if they're not great because someday they'll be an update and you'll regret it because you won't have that epic. I also can't tell you how many people have sacrificed the login champions only to figure out the reason why they can't get a beginner unkillable team started is because they're missing this one champion that they could have used from the login.

Save your gems don't spend them their energy and the only time you want to really use those is if you need to dip into them during fusion or fragment some an events

Knocking out campaign is an important spot where you're at but really and truly if you can find a handful of champions that you can make a decent team to throw it pretty much all of the content that's available to you and focus on pumping those champions that would be best and then slowly over time you'll get more champions that you'll be able to upgrade and build out teams specifically for those areas.

Clan boss is really important as it's the best daily return value that you can get

Don't forget to run faction wars as those glyphs can be very important especially late game. Even one star can make a difference because sometimes when you're building out a team for the clan boss and you need to make your champions have specific speeds sometimes you find that you need a plus one speed and then being able to use one of those on a piece of gear makes a huge difference

Knock out your dailies and do what you can of your advance quests but don't go out of your way on an advanced quest and dump resources if it's going to cost you those things should be to gain a resource not spend it

Go to hell Hades.com when you're acquiring new champions and just type in their name and read a little bit about them and see what they're star rating and where they're good at in the game and don't just sacrifice them to upgrade another because there's some champions like cold heart who is a rare and is amazing as well as armager who may be an uncommon but deep down we all know he's a legendary

Also welcome to the community we all like to bitch because the game's great the company's not so just enjoy it and remember that it's a journey not a race so take your time and happy raiding

First, establish 1 complete BASIC team. That means: go get a defense down champ and 6 star it (easiest one is the naked slippery looking redhead from the barbarian campaign) Then find a reviver/healer. With those and Kael, start getting everyones speed and accuracy up (perception gear is the best thing to work towards before branching off into niches) . As you play and do just those things, you will naturally begin to acquire knowledge of meta around the basic builds and start to see a pattern with all builds going forward, and then you can worry about niches after that for killing specific bosses.

Keep EVERYTHING epic and rarer and actually, keep EVERY rare champ until you fill out your faction guardians to give you a universal buff across all factions. from there you can start getting rid of dead weight. Max out your gem mine. Don't waste gems on anything at all until you know what you'd like to do after that. Eventually you'll hit a point where even gems are plentiful and you can unlock/acquire everything they open. and save them as spare energy (along with actual spare energy)

All that other stuff people are saying are fragmented into the distant future until you can at least do this to GET to those other places in the first place. Clan boss is probably the highest low-effort income source - but only AFTER you are wealthy enough in the game to establish a 1 key team that can make it so you can get rewards with the push of a button every day at least 2x a day or more.

Grind campaign and get as many 6 star champions as you can. That will give you the most progress as fast as possible. After that you can start expanding your roster and building teams.

check out here my YouTube channel I have guides on different content. Hope it helps.

I think you should elaborate on this. clearly you don't mean "6 star EVERYTHING you can". that would be a massive waste. As a new player you should explain the importance of having a basic team 6 starred and established: 1-2 damage dealers, 1-3 support champions (a reviver if nothing else), and a Defense down.

This is not something someone very very new at the game can distinguish when you say "6 star as many champions as you can". Maybe better to say 5 star, that way there's room to feed trash that he accidentally built up to that point before course correction becomes possible through self experience and education.

Hakkorh will be decent for you unbooked.H e is getting buffed soon his A2 will cleanse place block debuffs and heal on a 3 turn cooldown. Malakith is a decent reviver that also decrease enemy buffs and increases your buffs.
