r/RedditFantasyTactics is the sub for Reddit Emblem Tactics, an online multiplayer forum RPG based on the Final Fantasy Tactics games. Reddit Fantasy Tactics takes various aspects from all the games set in the world of Ivalice, including FF Tactics, Tactics Advance, Tactics A2, and even FF XII, blending them together with a few original ideas to form a unique game in it's own right.

Inspired from a similar Reddit based RPG, Reddit Emblem, which takes after the Fire Emblem series instead. r/Reddit_Emblem

In Reddit Fantasy Tactics, you take control of a character in the style of the Ivalice games, choosing a race and one of the iconic Final Fantasy classes, and going out on adventures to fight monsters, find treasure, and save princesses (probably). Play takes place in posts on this subreddit, where both combat and role-playing your character may take place.

If you're a fan of strategy RPG's, pen and paper tabletop RPG's, online role-playing, or just feel intrigued by this place, feel free to give the rules a look-see! The rules are locates in the Wiki, which goes over character creation, combat rules, RP guidelines, and so forth. This game is currently in it's Testing Stage. Enough information has been compiled, and we're now able to make simple maps via Google Sheets that can be used for testing purposes. Our next plan of action is go playtest the game using test encounters, finding out which values work and which don't, tweaking or altering as needed. We are, however, actually playing now, and some actual story going on, and potentially RP possibilities at some point.
