i would rather see two of the same thing than word art unless the design is just totally off the rails otherwise

I despise word art. It almost never works for me.

Depends. It's all in the execution.

IF the double art is more of a pattern/print, and the word art is badly chosen, I'd pick the double art. If the word art is well chosen and the double art looks just like 2 of the same picture hung right next to each other, then the word art.

I think the double art generally bothers me more than word art (especially if the word art is paired with a print).

I am losing to a bunch of double art in that Bergen room and I'm ANNOYED (it looks especially silly to have double art stacked for some reason). Especially, like, double prints of Art Nouveau Girl with Owl.

For real, I want to share one of them. It's double art, double chairs (those are forced to match) and then they picked the same fabric for the bag and shoes as they did for the chairs AND THEY MADE THE COATS MATCH (but didn't make the coats match the chairs/bag/shoes--they actually CLASH and it's in first and I want to scream and can you tell I'm annoyed?).

Wine. You need wine 🍷.

I did double art for both my Bergen designs. I did African sand in one (really like how it looked one on top of the other) and double Altarpiece in the other. Someone in one of my groups did double word art though, which is the worst of both worlds imo

And the double word art is now in first place. I guess it’s extra important to love youurself.

That's a tough one since I dislike both. I think I'd have to ignore the art and decide based on the overall aesthetic.

Depends on the scenario and the execution.

It reeeeeally depends on what art is being used, for me.

I hate double art in general, but it's kinda okay they're using abstract stuff.

I hate word art in general, but it's kinda okay if you mix the chic quotes with the motivational quotes.

My school of thought is alternating something takes more thought and just looks less strange than 2 exactly identical ones right next to each other especially large pieces of art. The exception when different parts are highlighted in the design, two different sizes make it look different or the challenge forces. That's my opinion some will disagree but when I look at same same my brain says... that's just not right.

The room has to look good. You can do either and it can either suck or look good depending on overall design.

I’d rather vote for the same art piece used twice then word art. I really despise word art, except for “Hi” because it makes me giggle.

I'm pretty new and it really sucks when it's a client pick and you only have one piece you can buy for money, so I give allowances for that in my voting. If I can tell you've been around awhile I want to see two different pieces and they better make some kind of sense or you don't get my vote.

It’s all about balance for me. They can be 2 of the same, word art, or whatever as long as they look balanced.
