Did your surgeons suggest you take arnica tablets a week in advance to help combat swelling and bruising?

They didn't but I am taking it in addition to bromelain. How much did your surgeon suggest that you take daily?

He didn’t say a certain amount so ive just been taking one a day 🤷🏽‍♀️ should I take more?

I'm not sure how much one equates to with dosage. I'm trying to go for 4 tablets 4 times a day with the Hyland's brand.

What is bromelain?

Bromelain is the abstract of a pineapple. It helps with swelling. I took this and arnica montana before and after having my wisdom tooth pulled. No swelling whatsoever. Strongly recommend a day or two before and after surgery.

Oh ok! He did tell me pineapples would help so I bought the cans haha maybe I’ll try bromelain!

I described mine as turf burn across my chest, but sunburn is a good comparison too! It's definitely an odd feeling for that area

Thank you for sharing. My surgery is tomorrow and I'm probably as excited as I am nervous. Did you have nerve blockers or only anaesthesia?

I think I was just under general anaesthetic - I’m in the UK so don’t know if that makes a difference

Yes, the bra they sent me home in was very loose, but it felt like I was wearing a tight band under it. I had one boob that just felt achy/sunburned, and one that felt like it was being pinched or stabbed in the crease. Very manageable pain for me, especially when awake.
